Dissolution of Marriage Papers
In Ohio, there is the Dissolution of Marriage. This by agreement between the parties. There are no grounds or fault. Incompatibility or a one-year period of separation are commonly used.

The final hearing is set a minimum of 30 days to a maximum of 90 days from the date of the filing of the case.
The terms of the Dissolution of Marriage are set out in a Separation Agreement which is agreed to by the parties.
Both spouses must attend the final Dissolution of Marriage hearing.
(During Covid most courts adopted the use of Zoom so that parties did not have to be in court. This has continued in many courts.)
Both parties say to the Court that they are unable to resolve their differences and that they wish that their marriage be dissolved.
